Description

Linville NC—I rose early at 3 a.m. and arrived at 6 a.m. with a short hike up to Rough Ridge Lookout on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I waited with my camera fixed to a tripod on a jutting rock in hopes of seeing a spectacular sunrise while the chilly mountain wind gently pushed against me. It was my first time seeing that many rolling clouds from my vantage point on a mountain trail.
